One of the most fun things about Boulder is that it’s a college town. This doesn’t just give the city a ton of youthful energy and creativity, but it also gives life here a nice cyclical rhythm as it ebbs and flows with each academic year.
Perhaps the time of year when it’s most notable how populated Boulder is with the college crowd is over the summer, when the city largely empties out. We love our college students here in Boulder, but there are some local spots that are a bit less crowded and a bit easier to get into while the students are away!
