It’s not often as a writer that you find yourself at a loss for words. You usually feel like you have the perfect words for any situation. Give me an article, I’ll give you an alliteration-filled title. Give me a topic, I’ll research it, I’ll live it, and I’ll write a story about it. It’s fun, and it’s what I love to do.
But everyone once in a while something happens that you just can’t quite describe, and all the words you think up just aren’t quite enough. You can get close, but it’s the visceral reaction that you have to something that does the talking, not the words coming out of your mouth, out of your pen, or out of your fingers on the keyboard.
September 16th was one of those days. The best day of our lives, simple as that.
I love you.
